Our Mission
Committed to Saving and Rehoming Abandoned Pets
At Pawprint Sanctuary, our mission is to provide a safe and loving haven for abandoned, abused, and neglected dogs in Calvert, TX and surrounding communities. As a foster-based rescue, we are committed to placing every dog in a nurturing home environment where they can heal, thrive, and prepare for a forever family. Through compassionate care, community education, and strong partnerships, we work to end the cycle of homelessness and ensure every pawprint leads to hope, love, and a second chance.
We respond to urgent situations, saving dogs from neglect, abandonment, and high-risk shelters.
Rescue
Through loving foster care, we provide medical treatment, behavioral support, and emotional healing.

We match each dog with a forever family where they can live safely, happily, and unconditionally loved.

Donate
Our rescue has recently covered several emergency surgeries and essential spay/neuter treatments for dogs in our care. These procedures save lives—but they come at a cost. We currently owe over $2,800 in vet bills, and we can’t keep doing this life-saving work without support from our amazing community.
Want to help? You can donate directly to the vets listed below. Just ask them to apply the donation to The City of Calvert bill and they’ll email you a receipt:
